Ocean Beach is a short ferry ride from Bay Shore, Long Island. It's located only 45 miles from Manhattan, yet miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled between the Great South Bay and the Atlantic Ocean you will find our beautiful pristine beach, amazing sunsets, fishing, surfing, boating, and beautiful views. Our fun-loving beach town is known for its diverse year-round & seasonal residents and our worldwide day-trippers and vacationers alike.
Our Main Street offers wonderful Restaurants & Eateries, Fabulous nightlife, Retail specialty shops, stores & markets, hotels, inns, B&B’s, docks & marinas. Our Streets & Walks are lined with simple seaside cottages to architecturally beautiful homes many of which are offered as vacation rentals with our local realtors. Cars are not permitted during the summer season because everything is within walking or biking distance. Ocean Beach is the perfect place to vacation with family or friends.
